I was responsible for three years for writing the two page ads for the Bernhardt Furniture Company, which appeared in several national high-end shelter magazines, including Architectural Digest, Veranda, Elle Decor and House Beautiful.

Other responsibilities included writing Bernhardt's press kits for the twice yearly International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC. and naming the collections.

 I was responsible for the contents of the Hickory Chair Press Kit for the 2001 International Home Furnishing Market in High Point, NC, which included product descriptions.

Part of my responsibilities with Bernhardt Furniture Company was writing all catalog copy and sales literature.

 

I have written for many real estate developers. These ads were part of a campaign for a residential development under new management.

Working for several years as the Senior Copywriter for The Adworks Agency in Fayetteville, NC, I became proficient at healthcare writing and advertising as our largest client was a 750-bed regional medical canter. I wrote all the major center brochures for Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, including cardiac care, physical rehabilitation services, labor and delivery and cancer.

My experience also includes writing billboards. I have been involved in concept development and writing billboards for banks, hospitals, retail clothing stores and more.

I have also authored a book about my experiences while waiting for my husband's heart transplant.
